Doggie Adventures

Beagle I had another doggie adventure a few weeks ago...I volunteered to transport two sweet Beagles! I picked them up in Gadsden and took them to Trenton. One was a puppy and even though I thought I had cleaned up my truck well, she found all kinds of things under my seat and pulled them out. By the time I got to Trenton I had it all piled on the dash so she couldn't eat it and she was in my lap. I believe this is Maggie in this picture, the older and calmer one. She mostly slept during the whole trip.

Cj You know, looks can be deceiving....CJ looks like the sweetest kitty with his big blue eyes, doesn't he? He can't stand for me to pet any other cat or play with them. He even bit and slapped at me tonight. Maybe he was mad that I was playing with another cat? It didn't hurt, but it still wasn't nice! He bullies all the other cats. I thought getting him fixed would make him mellow out a little, but not so far. You'd never guess it by looking at him though!!

BetsyAnd here's my Daddy's pretty cow....we think she looks like a Betsy! ;)

I've been busy working on new designs for my show and for some new patterns this week. I finished about 10 jack-o-lantern make-do's last night! Can't wait for my All Halloween themed booth!! I hope I remember to bring my camera and my media card to this show!!

  1. I adore Maggie. I have always loved beagles, we had them growing up. Betsy looks like our cow that was named Judy. We have been battling hurricanes and power outages here. Yesterday and today is fall and it is WONDERFUL!! I can't wait to see your photos from your show and how is the studio? Are you all moved in? NEW PHOTOS PLEASE!!De

  3. Me too, De! We had beagles and redbone hounds when I was growing up. Lots of puppies and they were so cute! Funny you named your cows--I named two Pebbles & Bam Bam when I was little! :)
Kenyon is working on the studio now--no pics but I'll have some soon and update you all on the progress!

  6. Hi Denise, have missed you!
For a cow, that is a bute your dad has. We had a Bessie, too and named some ours also. Too many to name them all. We liked taking turns milking one of the cows everyday. I grew up with beagles, red bones and blues also. They were all hunting dogs. The girls in our family could shot just as good as the men and I still can.:) Of course, we had to hunt to survive back then. Things sure are different today.
Can't wait to see your pics. zoe

  7. Hey, Zoe....I've missed you too! We need to spend a day emailing to catch up!!!! I only remember having one milk cow and it stepped on my sister's foot while she had on footie pajamas, so we were scared of it. (Don't ask why we were milking the cow and she was in her pajamas--I just don't know!) Also never hunted--I went raccoon hunting once, but we didn't take a gun! ;)
