I'm going to tell you a little about where I'm from.....with photos! One day this fall my husband & I went riding around town to take some photos. This one is here in Scottsboro, at the railroad tracks, of course! At night sometimes I can hear the train. I love to hear it! Its not too close so its not really loud, I just barely hear it in the distance. I don't know why, but I have always love the sound of a train! 
Of course I always see a cat!!

Hey! that's where I'm from, cept for the mountains. They are beautiful. I love this post! I love the sound of a train too. My dad worked for the railroad all of his life and we used to go pick him up at the train yard in the early hours of the morning and I would fall asleep listening to the trains. I have a railroad track behind my house too, thank goodness! It is a comforting sound to me. Your photos are stunning!

ReplyDeleteI just found your web site from a search on Google that gives me updates everyday. I can't beleive I haven't been on your site yet. I have read a lot of your postings. I will be back to read more. I am also a Scottsboro girl. Your pictures are all so familiar to me. I love seeing pictures from back home. Your street is really familiar. If it is the one I recognize my sister lives on it. It turns off Willow. I don't want to say it on here for your privacy. I bet we know alot of the same people. Take a look at my blog. I am still fairly new to it & fall behind some. I haven't posted since we came back from Christmas vacation. I stay a bit busy. We came into S'boro & went onto the Smokies.
