New vintage hankies & napkins on my site!
I decided to finally list some of my vintage hankies and napkins on my site. They are so cool--guess that's why I put off listing them! If you like vintage linens, check them out at The Cat's Pyjamas Patterns. Hope you find something you love there!
If you can stand to cut them up, they would make great doll dresses. If you don't want to cut them, they would still work for an apron or head scarf for a doll.
I have a guest in my house this week! Monday morning I went outside to feed the kitties and Cricket had a cut on her back paw so bad that the bone was showing. I took her to the vet and she stayed a couple of nights. The vet thought she might lose her toe, but its healing on its own and is a lot better. She came home yesterday and is staying inside until her foot heals (about a week) and she is LOVING it!

Spending the day with Jackson
I went to visit with Momma while my nephew, Jack, was with her. He wasn't feeling good, but still had a good time getting his picture made! He made sweet faces--of course that's what he's doing here. Then he made mean faces, sad faces, monster faces, cow faces...any kind of "face" he could think of. I told him to jump while I took his picture and he kept wanting pictures of him jumping, doing the splits. LOL! It was fun and I have tons of cute pictures of him....here are just a few. He's such fun!

My Christmas decorations
I didn't do a lot of decorating this year--I knew Hadley would try to climb the tree and eat my decorations, so I wasn't too excited about trying to watch her all the time. I finally put up my skinny tree about a week and a half before Christmas. I usually put up a big tree in the living room and this one in my bathroom, but I skipped the big one this year. I was a little sad, but I was glad when it came time to take it down. All I have to do is take off the ornaments (I leave the lights on) and the tree doesn't come apart, so its EASY! This one is a lime green and I decorate it with pink lights and the ornaments are mostly pink and purple with a sparkly party hat on top! When I turn the lights on, the whole tree looks pink....I tried to take a pic, but it just doesn't look as pretty as it does in person. Hadley, Pumpkin and Strawberry just couldn't leave it alone. I ended up putting it up on a table so I at least had a chance to catch they started trying to get to it. (It fell twice and I caught it both times!)
Here is is lit up--not the best picture, but you get the idea!!Love this tree because it looks like something that would be on "The Grinch!" Below are more pics from my mantel and my little foil tree with vintage ornaments. That was the extent of my decorating this year!

Happy 2011!
I'm back! We've been snowed in a couple of times and I've just been trying to stay warm!! Luckily I had Hadley and the other kitties to snuggle up with. ;) I'm working on listing some vintage linens and patterns on my site this week. I've been cleaning out my studio and finding all sorts of goodies I need to part with, so I'll be putting some on ebay and some on my website. Watch out!! My husband has been off all week so we've made some progress on remodeling my studio. Yeah!!!!
