Yeah, we have actually been getting our fair share of snow. We are even supposed to get more this week! Its pretty, but I REALLY am getting tired of the cold weather. The last few days have been in the 50's, which is fine by me. I'm ready for spring. But I did enjoy getting out and taking a few pics--wanted to share some with you.
Sorry its been so long...still getting over my "computer virus". ha! Seems like once you get behind, its hard to ever get caught up!!
I wanted to share the cover of Create & Decorate with my Hippity Hoppity pillow on the cover. Its my first cover, so I'm pretty excited about it. I'm always happy with my projects in their magazine--I love the way they photograph everything with the primitive accessories included. Wish I had someone from their magazine to do my photography for my patterns! I had to do my own photography for the Doll Crafter & Costuming project. Mine isn't nearly as interesting. I did have my PINK chippy paint door as a backdrop. That door is one of the best things I found that someone was throwing away, I think!!
I'm sure the Create & Decorate magazine is still on the shelves now. (Its the April 2010 issue) The issue of Doll Crafter & Costuming is probably still on the stands now too--the February 2010 issue. I have "My Funny Valentine" in that issue. If you can't find a copy, I'll get those two patterns on my site today for you.
We've actually been getting some snow--something rare around here! I took some pics one day--will share those with you tomorrow. I'm sure its not so impressive for some of you who get to see the snow every year. But for us, its a big deal. I even made a tiny snowman--I didn't have much to work with!!
